Welcome to My Website and My New Venture as a Live Wedding Artist

You may be wondering where all the examples of wedding artwork are from an award-winning artist. For the past five years, I’ve worked professionally as a UK-based artist specialising in graphite and colour pencil portraits of pets and horses for clients across the world.

While I’ve always enjoyed drawing people, I never officially opened my commission books for portraits until now. In 2023, I made the decision to step into the wedding industry as a live wedding painter and portrait artist. But like many creatives, I had a confidence wobble and decided to dedicate time to learning how to paint and blend with the same finesse I brought to my pencil work. I wanted to reach a point where, when I launched this side of my business, I could confidently offer couples beautiful, timeless wedding paintings to the highest standard.

Why Weddings?

Like so many others, I absolutely love weddings. The joy, the emotion, the celebration it’s all such a powerful experience. Capturing those special moments on canvas as a live wedding artist feels like a natural extension of what I love to do. My artistic style blends the detailed realism I’ve become known for with the soft, expressive qualities of paint. The result is a unique interpretation that reflects the beauty and feeling of your day, not just a static image.

When I attend your wedding as your live artist, I take a high-quality reference photo using my DSLR camera, check that you’re happy with the image, and then begin painting your story on canvas during your celebration. Whether you’re looking for a live wedding painting on the day or a custom wedding portrait created afterwards from your favourite photo, there are options available to suit your unique love story. Every couple deserves artwork that captures not just how you look, but how you feel. That’s why I offer a pre-wedding consultation where I get to know you both so the piece I create is full of meaning, personality, and emotion.

Current Work in Progress: Dayna & Paddy’s Irish Wedding

Right now, I’m working on a beautiful piece for the lovely Dayna and Paddy, created from a stunning photo taken during their wedding in Ireland. I absolutely love how they’re looking at each other in the image. There’s movement, connection, and so much joy in the moment, which is exactly what I aim to bring out in the painting. I’ll be sharing more of this soon.
